How soon after I place my order will you send the goods?

Our last posting date for Christmas for our FREE DELIVERY is 21st December. Alternatively we can send your parcel using Royal Mail Guaranteed Delivery service until 23rd December

We endevour to keep everything you see on our website in stock, (with the exception of custom made items,) ready to send the same day your order is received. However, sometimes we receive a high demand for particular items and we temporarily sell out. If this happens with your order we will send you an email as soon as possible advising you of the situation and informing you of an approximate date that we will be likely to despatch your order.  In some instances we may have part of your order in stock but not everything. If this is the case, we can send what we have in stock and follow on with the rest as soon as it comes into stock again (usually within 7-14 days if not sooner.) If you selected Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery you would not be charged twice for delivery in a situation such as this. We do not process your payment until we hear back from you, advising us as to whether you wish to continue with your order or not.  

Orders received before 3.30pm will be dispatched that same day. Orders received after that time will be sent the following day.

Please be aware that Special Delivery orders placed after 3.30pm on Thursdays cannot be posted until the following day. Due to the weekend, delivery of Special Delivery parcels posted on Friday is therefore made on Monday. It is possible to have Special Delivery parcels delivered on a Saturday but this costs £7. We do not currently have a Saturday delivery option on our site although we are happy to do it. Please therefore call one of our sales team with your instruction on 0141 248 6550 before placing your order online.

What is your returns policy for something bought as a Christmas Gift?

We understand that you want to be able to buy Christmas gifts with the peace of mind that if they aren't suitable they can be returned for an exchange or no quibble refund. For that reason anything bought from our online shop between now and Christmas can be returned to us by Friday 17th January 2010 for a full refund as long as they are returned to us with the receipt and in re-sellable condition. 

How will you send my order and how much will it cost?

You can choose from three delivery options. First Class (Free of Charge), Recorded Delivery (£1.50) and Special Delivery (£4.50.)

We can post small parcels within the U.K. Free of Charge if you select the First Class Free of Charge Option. We will post this to you using Royal Mail standard delivery service. We obtain a Certificate of Post to verify when your parcel was sent but we recommend you consider Recorded Delivery at a cost of £1.50 or Special Delivery which costs £4.50 for items of a high value or for peace of mind as Royal Mail standard delivery service cannot be tracked.  Please be aware however that a signature will be required for Recorded Delivery and Special Delivery parcels. If no-one is available to accept delivery of your parcel it will be taken to your local depot for you to collect at a later date.

Please note that unfortunately bulky or heavy items such as Rob Mulholland Spun Bowls cannot be sent using our First Class Free of Charge Option. Please select the Special Delivery option.

For overseas parcels, where possible, we will send it by Airsure, as this service is trackable from point of sending to destination. However, this service is not available to all countries. If we cannot use the Airsure service we will send your parcel International Signed For which will require a signature at the point of delivery. A postal charge of £5.00 applies to parcels sent outwith the U.K. Please note however that this rate only applies to lightweight jiffy envelopes. If the parcel is bulky or heavy we will obtain a delivery quotation for your approval prior to processing your order.

What does 'Special Order Only' mean?

It means we possibly don't have the item in stock but we can still order it in for you at no extra cost. We would keep you advised as to delivery timescales but it would be advisible to allow between approximately 7-14 days for delivery, although sometimes it can take slightly longer.  

Can I cancel an order after it has been placed?

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase at any point from the time of ordering until seven working days after delivery. To cancel this contract, please either telephone or email us with the order number and your instruction to cancel.

If we have already shipped your order, you will need to package the relevant items and send them back to us and we can then refund your credit card once we have received the parcel. Please note however that we will not refund the cost of the return postage to us.

This above returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Can I return unwanted items and receive a full refund?

Yes! Our products come with a 10 day no quibble guarantee to replace or refund your purchase, excluding specially ordered items, custom made items, sale items and for hygiene reasons, pierced earrings and necklace sets which include pierced earrings. If the product is not suitable for any reason or it does not meet your expectations then please e-mail sales@micajewellery.co.uk  before posting back the item(s), stating the reason for returning them and if you would like a replacement or full refund. Please include your order number.

All items must be returned unworn and in their original condition and packaging. For refunds of wedding items we require a copy of the wedding invitation to validate that items have not been worn. Any returned items must be received by us within this time so please allow for the goods to reach us.

As per normal terms, delivery charges will not be refunded in the case of a return. We strongly advise that when returning goods you use Royal Mail's Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery service as Mica cannot be held responsible for goods that do not reach us. 

We reserve the right to refuse returned items if they are not in their original condition, and/or labels have been detached and the items have been worn.

What should I do if something I have bought is faulty?

All products are covered for up to 30 days. Please include a note with your details and the order number and details of the fault. We reserve the right to replace or repair the items. If this is not possible we will refund the item to your card.

What do I need to do to receive my Free Spinning Ring?  

After you have bought your sixth Spinning ring simply post back to us all of your receipts that we send to you with your purchases. Enclose a note telling us which ring from the Spinning Narrow Rings selection @ £17 you would like and we will send it out to you! Please also include a note of your email address. If for any reason the ring you have chosen is out of stock we will drop you an email (providing we have your email address) and let you know. You can either choose to wait for it to come back into stock or re-select. Please note, in order to qualify for a free Spinning ring your six rings must all have been purchased from Mica, either online on in-store.   

Have Nomination prices increased in 2010?

On 1st Jan 2010 Nomination increased the RRP prices of the entire Nomination collection due to the poor rate of exchange of the Euro and the rocketing prices of gold. This price increase was also implemented to bring the U.K. prices in line with the rest of Europe as it has until now been cheaper to purchase Nomination in the U.K. than in the rest of Europe. 
 
Mica are delighted to announce that we will not be implementing this price increase initially on our 'In Stock' charms and will continue to offer our customers, until further notice, Nomination classic charms and starter bracelets at the 2009 prices. The new prices have been applied already to our  'Special Order Only' charms and all other 'Special Order Only ' Nomination jewellery.
